The Ministry of National Defense Minister Yan De-fa said today (27^th) that they spent considerable time and effort to rationally communicate and discuss with the society and veteran groups with regard to the reform process of the military annuity, and the participants addressing their issues are our fraternity. Ministry Yen reiterated that the protest should not result in social conflict and confrontation, we should keep rational, calm and be aware of personal safety.

Minister Yan emphasized that both the Ministry of National Defense and the Retired Affiliation Council will fully protect the rights of active military personnel and veterans.
